Safety is of the utmost importance to the New Brighton Community Association. Each month we are updated by our Calgary Police Representative about what is happening in terms of crime and prevention in the community. Currently in our district, the Calgary Police are working diligently on break-ins, car prowlings and traffic safety.

To help prevent crime in the community, remember to lock your doors, windows and garages. If you see any suspicious behaviour, phone the police. Get to know your neighbours! Check out this Infograph for more information on how to protect your home.

In the future, we would love to see a formal Community Watch program and Traffic committee in place. As a Community Association, we have the contacts available to make this happen, we just need you! We need some residents to step forward and take on these programs. Contact us if you are interested.
